In this podcast, Tim Gordon and I discuss the two directions Catholic community in America could take via Clint Eastwood’s movie “Gran Torino," namely love of society or love of the individual.
In this podcast, Tim Gordon discusses where politics meets religion in his new book, “Catholic Republic: Why America Will Perish Without Rome.” Gordon argues that “America is a republic wired Catholic, labeled Protestant and is currently functioning as a secular.”

Notice equal-opportunity target-practice below: JPII Catholics≈Jim These are the young Catholics who want to make Catholicism look relevant. Jim Halpert is no neo-conservative on the TV show, but his [...]
This Sunday sermon is about why Jesus was not a people-pleaser, and why you shouldn't be one either.

The older kids, being about 10 years old, twirled foot-long wands out of their dish soap to create bubbles about six inches in diameter. The youngest brother who was playing bubbles with them was only five years old. He simply couldn’t help himself from popping his older sisters' bubbles. I told him: "Just make your own." He looked at me with [...]
