This is actually one of my most hope-filled posts, but follow me down the bad rabbit hole of humanism for a minute before we come rocketing up to the glory of God: Most conservative pundits say that the world is now worse than previous centuries. However, most professors of world history at American and European universities teach that (except for modern wars) we now live in a world much safer, thanks to medicine, secularism and globalism. Of course, I would want to point the latter group to the millions of yearly abortions, but the Western academy will not accept that the unborn constitute an actual genocide of slaughtered human beings. On 13 October 1884, Pope Leo XIII entered a trance after finishing Mass in the Vatican and he saw Jesus and Satan talking: Satan: “I can destroy Your Church.” Our Lord: “You can? Then go ahead and do so.” Satan: “To do so, I need more time and more power.” Our Lord: “How much time? You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you." And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”—Gen 41:39-41. Notice [...]
This podcast is not based on private revelation but rather the things that the Bible and the Catechism say must come at the end of time: The Great Tribulation and Apostasy, the Anti-Christ versus the Restrainer. At the final end we see the second coming of Jesus Christ, the Final Judgment, the destruction of earth and the Resurrection of the Body. Finally, we will see the New Heavens and the New Earth.
The entire story of Jews and Catholics meet: God marries His people in today's Gospel, Matthew 22.
