The Great Ones Part 1 of 3
Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to Him with her sons, and kneeling before Him she asked Him for something. And He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to Him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at Your right hand and one at Your left, in Your kingdom.” Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.” He said to them, “You will drink My cup, but to sit at My right hand and at My left is not Mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.” And when the ten heard it, they were indignant at the two [...]
TCE 30: The Children’s Story
"Theology and Current Events" (TCE) #30 considers the question: How long does it take a leftist to brainwash a kid from a family on the right? The answer is found in James Clavell’s classic short tale titled, “The Children’s Story.” https://youtu.be/lug_UK8Jcxw
Are Diocesan Priests “Self-Employed”?
There's a lot of talk of bishops being the "spiritual fathers" to their priests. I like that idea a lot, but let's see if it's true. In 1997 in Connecticut, there was a priestly scandal in Bridgeport that was brought to light several years before the "summer of shame" in the nearly-neighboring Archdiocese of Boston. The Hartfort Courant ran the story of an accused priest titled The Priest as Independent Contractor and I'll include the first 135 words here: More should be expected from a man of the cloth than Bridgeport Roman Catholic Bishop Edward M. Egan delivered earlier this month at a federal trial in New Haven. Bishop Egan testified that his diocese cannot be held liable for the misconduct of a priest because priests are "self-employed." They work in parishes that are corporations and are paid by [...]

A “different” church is a “false” church
We traditionalists often use the term "Remnant Church" to refer to other traditionalist Catholics. Similarly, we may use terms against the modernists like "parallel church" or "false church" or "eclipsed church" or "counterfeit church." Of course, we all know that at the end of the day, that there can be only one Church, for Christ can have only one spouse, the Catholic Church: "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the Church to Himself in splendor."—Eph 5:25-27a. Archbishop Viganò uses the terms "parallel church" and "eclipsed church:" “It is no accident: what these men affirm with impunity, scandalizing moderates, is what Catholics also believe, namely: that despite all the efforts [...]

Compliance and Genocide
Consider just the past 100 years of politics, not medicine, and table that big debate of which will kill more people: covid or the jab? The topic I want to look at is: Would communist regimes rather have compliance or death for their own citizens? The answer is: Compliance, but death is a good second option. That was the case for those running the show of economic-communism, at least, in the past 100 years of socialist regimes. But under health-communism, it's a little different. The technocrats now running the show at the very top of the global pecking-order are truly concerned with "climate change" and they see it as their mission to help the planet alleviate her own over-population. To this end, health-communism is perfectly set-up because the same people who made the virus also made the vaccine, and this [...]

The Maccabees, the TLM and the “Vaccine”
Who were the Maccabees? Dr. Taylor Marshall writes here: The “Maccabees,” or more properly the Hasmoneans, were a Jewish priestly family that led the just rebellion against the Greco-Syrians under Antiochus IV Epiphanes in the second century before Christ. The Maccabees were led by Mathathias and then by his third son Judas “Maccabeus.” The nickname comes from the Aramaic maccaba meaning “hammer.” So his name was “Judas the Hammer.” The nickname “Maccaba” was extended to the entire family and descendants of Mathathias. The nickname, no doubt, refers to Judas’ “hammering” of the enemies of God in battle. The true patronymic of the family was Hasmonean. In 1 Maccabees, the pagan Antiochus forbids the practice of the Old Testament – no circumcision, sacrifice, Passover, or reading of Scripture. Moreover, the Jews are required to eat pork and worship the Greek gods. [...]
