Overturning the First Two Secrets of Fatima.

For all the energy we rightly spend speculating on the Third Secret of Fatima, I think we also need to look deeper at the first Two Secrets.

While studying the first Two Secrets of Fatima, it struck me as odd that the Fatima saints would label something of public revelation (like the reality of hell) as a “secret” of private revelation.  In other words, are the first two secrets really secrets?

Then it hit me:  Perhaps Our Lady in Fatima wanted these basic things of Our Faith to be known as “secrets,” precisely because of how many clergy of the 20th and 21st century would deny them.

In this article, I’m going to simply remind you of the first Two Secrets of Fatima as given by the Mother of God to the shepherd children of Portugal in her appearance to them in 1917. Then I will briefly summarize it and finally reveal how the mainstream clergy denies it.  I will take some quotes from the Fatima Center.

The First Secret of Fatima: She [Our Lady of Fatima] opened Her hands once more, as She had done during the two previous months. The rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls [of the damned] in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in huge fires, without weight or equilibrium, amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. (It must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me). The demons could be distinguished [from the souls of the damned] by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, black and transparent like burning coals.  This vision lasted but an instant. How can we ever be grateful enough to our kind heavenly Mother, Who had already prepared us by promising, in the first apparition, to take us to Heaven. Otherwise, I think we would have died of fear and terror.

Summary of the First Secret:  Hell exists and many people go there.

Denial by modernist clergy:  Again, it shouldn’t be a “secret” that hell exists and many people go there.  Every saint taught this for 2,000 years.  The few holy men who could have been saints—but taught against this—like the early Church Father Origin were never canonized.  (Modernists claim Origin was never raised to the honors of the altar because he mutilated himself.  This is true, but it’s only part of the reason.)  Rather, 20th century high-profile priests like Von Balthasar attempted to rehabilitate Origin, and even go beyond him in claiming 98%-100% of humanity is saved.

Many liberals in the 1970s used to say “Hell does not exist, except as a state of mind.”  But now, mainstream Catholic bishops (like Barron who most Americans think of as “conservative”) have a line that is equally dangerous, but sounds a lot more orthodox:  “Are any human beings in Hell?  We don’t know.  The Church has never declared on that subject.”

Well, that is absolute and blatant heresy.  The Council of Trent infallibly states that not every human is saved: But though He died for all, yet all do not receive the benefit of His death, but those only to whom the merit of His passion is communicated; because as truly as men would not be born unjust, if they were not born through propagation of the seed of Adam, since by that propagation they contract through him, when they are conceived, injustice as their own, so if they were not born again in Christ, they would never be justified, since in that new birth there is bestowed upon them, through the merit of His passion, the grace by which they are made just.—Chapter 3, Session 6, Council of Trent, 13 January 1547 under Pope Paul III.

Jesus Christ’s own words seem to imply that the majority of humanity is not saved:   Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.—Mt 7:13-14.

And yet, despite the warnings of Jesus and Mary, the Vatican just declared “Venerable” (the first step to canonization) an Ecuadorian bishop named Labaka who died an unrepentant child-molester.   Yes, you read that correctly.  The disgraced Bishop Labaka was a child-molester who blamed the children in the jungles of South America for his nude escapades with him.  The short story in English is here.  The longer story in English is here.  The story in Spanish is here.

Now do you see why we can refer to a relatively rudimentary aspect of public Divine Revelation like hell as “a secret”?  It must be because the Immaculata prepared the children of Fatima (and the world) for an apostasy in the clergy against even basic truths of the Bible, like hell.

The Second Secret of Fatima: To save them [poor sinners who are on the road to hell], God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse war will break out during the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions against the Church and against the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated.

Summary of the Second Secret:  The Pope with all bishops of the world must consecrate Russia (and Russia alone) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to prevent spiritual destruction and physical destruction.

Denial by modernist clergy: In 1946, Sr. Lucy explained in an interview that the general consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart performed by Pope Pius XII in 1942 was not satisfactory, because it was not the specific consecration of Russia and all the Catholic bishops did not join the Pope. In 1952, the Pope did mention Russia in another consecration, but failed to perform the ceremony in union with all the bishops of the world. Evidently, Pius XII had not been informed of this requirement, which is explicitly stated in Sr. Lucia’s memoirs.

Pope John Paul II also failed to mention Russia exclusively, apparently out of fear of overturning ecumenical relations between the Vatican and Moscow in matters of both Church and State.  The exorcist Fr. Gabriele Amorth (a good friend of JPII) explained: “There was no such consecration then… I witnessed the act. I was in St. Peter’s Square that Sunday afternoon, very close to the Pope; so close, I could almost touch him… John Paul II wanted to mention Russia expressly, but in the end he did not.”

Yet even mainstream Catholic media today insist that Russia was accurately consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by numerous Popes.  Once, when Catholic News Agency had to answer why numerous modernist Popes had to consecrate Russia if the first one was valid, they simply said they were to “echo” the first one. Ohhhh. Unending echoes into the abyss of obedience that has produced the promised world-peace and the conversion of Russia?

In any case, as long as we’re going through the first Two Secrets of Fatima, let’s do the same pattern of analysis for the Third Secret, too.

The Third Secret of Fatima:  Unknown.

Summary of Third Secret:  Those who have read the Third Secret claim it was apostasy from the top-down.  In other words, the Catholic hierarchy and clergy of the 20th century would stop being Catholic.   Think about the implications to that.  That means obeying our current modernist clergy in the Vatican literally leads lay people to hell—the very place they deny!

To this day, I still think the best documentary proving this is The Secret Still Silenced.

Denial by modernist clergy: The Vatican claimed in June of 2000 the Third Secret was some LARPING game of crossbows and soldiers hitting Rome (probably because they think trads like LARPing.)  Of course, if the Third Secret of Fatima actually refers to an apostasy in the Vatican (as the above documentary reveals) it’s not in the modernists’ best interest to release the real Third Secret.

Clearly, the fact modernist clergy (including so-called conservatives in America today) deny the first Two Secrets of Fatima (as my article today demonstrates) is further proof they are most afraid of the real Third Secret of Fatima being disclosed to the public. Clearly, the fact they are now attempting to “beatify” an unrepentant child-molester proves that all three Secrets of Fatima have become just that—secrets.
